We’re #61!
CNN recently released their Best Places to Live for 2011.
Webster Groves, Missouri came in sixty-first.
They had this to say about Webster Groves:
Novelist Jonathan Franzen, who grew up here, has called Webster Groves “a friendly, unpretentious town.” Nestled among tall oak trees planted 200 years ago, the neighborhoods in Webster Groves–named for 19th century statesman Daniel Webster–offer considerable economic diversity. Just two miles outside St. Louis city limits, the town has affordable housing that draws young families, plus much more expensive homes. Public schools are some of the most competitive in the region. –D.B.
I tried to read one of Jonathan Franzen’s books and I must say I enjoy Webster Groves significantly more than I did his book.
